 Applebees Pancake Breakfast - A pancake breakfast was held at Applebees, located on Route 50 in Saratoga Springs, New York, on Sunday, June 3.  Team members sold tickets in advance and at the door. Breakfast was served from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m..  Applesbees provided the kitchen staff to prepare the pancakes, cook the bacon, and plate the food.  All other jobs were done by our team members and parent volunteers, which included seating the guests, taking the orders, serving the guests, cleaning the tables, and resetting the tables.  The team also sold raffle tickets for various prize-filled baskets.  It was a fun fundraiser and easy to work with. Thanks to Applebees and the manager for helping us make this event a great success.

 

 Five Below - The team's first fundraising effort was through Five Below, located on Route 50 in Saratoga Springs, New York.  This is a very large store that sells a great deal of items and where nothing sells for more than $5.00.  Between Black Friday and Christmas Eve, Five Below allowed our team to earn 10 percent of all sales when the purchaser presented our fundraiser flyer at the register. It was a good start to our fundraising efforts and a great way for the community to support our team while buying low cost items for the holidays.  

 

Lindt - In April, Schuylerville Robotics did a fundraiser with online ordering of Lindt Chocolate. It was a delicious way to raise money for our team while getting someone a special treat. After all, it is hard to go wrong with chocolate!
