FUNDRAISING  2013-2014

 

 

PHANTOM HOCKEY GAME:   Our team sold tickets to a Phantom's Hockey game.  Then during the game we sold bags of pucks for 'Chuck-a-Puck' at end of game.  We were also able to sell 50/50 raffle tickets during the game as well.  During halftime we brought our team and robot on the ice to throw frisbees at Dax (the mascot).  It was a great fundraiser and awesome night of fun for the team.  The snow storm kept many people away but did not dampin our spirits.  Thank you to the Adirondack Phantoms for this wonderful opportunity!!!  And thanks to all those that came out and supported our team!!

 

iPad Raffle:  We had another fundraiser where we bought an iPad Air and then sold raffle tickets.  We sold many tickets and then asked Matt Sickles (Schuylerville High School Principle) to draw the name for us.  This was a fun and exciting way to earn money for the team and we were so excited to pick the winner.  Thanks to all who bought raffle tickets and CONGRATULATIONS to our winner!!!!

 

Bottle Drive:  We also have an ongoing bottle drive for our team.  We have a trailer set up not far from our school where people can bring their recyclables.  This has been a great success and brings in that much needed funds required to run a robotics team!! THANKS to all for your bottle/can donations!!!  Thanks to TOMRA for helping make this a success!!!
